Ingredients

  • Chicken wings: 12 pieces
  • Water: 10 cups
  • Garlic: 12 cloves
  • Wakame (reconstituted): 3.5 oz
  • Green onion: 1/2 stalk
  • Salt: 1 Tbsp

Directions

  • Make a vertical cut in the chicken wings and coat with sake. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then drain the excess liquid in a sieve.
  • Place the chicken wings and Wangshin Fish Sauce in a plastic bag, mix, and let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Put the chicken wings, water, and garlic in a pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Add the wakame, bring back to a boil, add the diagonally sliced green onion, and season with salt.
